Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read and open to a random page:
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Background: Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret—something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive. . . . .
“…She held his hand tighter and they sat in the moonlight, clinging to the wreckage of their marriage…”
The second teaser is from THE OPPOSITE OF MAGIC by Colleen Cowley – (Paranormal Romance)
Background: Emily Daggett’s childhood dream of finding a wizard, becoming extraordinarily powerful and battling evil is belatedly coming true. In the most screwed-up way possible.
“…Upsetting enough that she would never cast a spell. Worse still that her body stood in opposition to all the everyday things making the world tick. But most terrible of all, somehow, was the knowledge that she obliterated magic just by existing …”
