ANZ LitLovers is hosting its inaugural Indigenous Writers Week Challenge in the first week in July to coincide with NAIDOC Week here in Australia (1st to 8th July)
Swing over to the ANZ Litlovers Blog for more information – and to sign up with Mr Linky.
I am going to read one book for NAIDOC week but have decided to extend this challenge into a personal for one year (July 2012 – June 2013) and aim to end up reading 12 books by indigenous authors – mostly Australian authors but may include indigenous writers from other countries, mostly New Zealand.
Here is a link to a list for Australian Indigenous writers:

Here is my initial list – I will add as I go after I have read these:
1. Who am I: The diary of Mary Talence by Anita Hess
2. Am I black Enough for You? by Anita Hess

4. Swallow the Air by Tara June Winch
